Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

I don’t think it’s up to an organization to decide how they are regulated or what privacy rules they need to follow. lol
“No, the consumer-facing Prenuvo online platform is generally not subject to HIPAA. Because Prenuvo operates as a direct-to-consumer health and imaging service, its online platform is often not legally classified as a "covered entity" under the law, meaning it is exempt from HIPAA's strict data-sharing restrictions.”
Right I wrote that in the post. The question is do they have to follow other laws that protect your data? It seems yes, various state laws apply.

Was this facility in plan? If so, it's hard to imagine they don't fall under regulations, but unless you can show damage from their losing it not sure what liability they would have. You could make them to a free exam to replace and you can report them. You can also ask for some compensation or you will report, but I'm not sure what past the value of the MRI.
To my knowledge, having used Prenuvo, they do not work with healthcare insurance at all - it's 100% out of pocket.
Yes they are a coveted entity.
