Absolutely! Financial literacy is a great skill to have. The way I see it, a lot of people that never had classes like that learned what they know now by experience and that usually ends in making mistakes. We all know how hard it is to get out of a financial hole. Why should the next generation have to make the same mistakes when they can already be taught what to/not to do?

Better question is who disagrees that we should be teaching kids basically financial literacy and why on earth they don't want it being taught. They are going to be using money their whole lives and we should absolutely be educating them on how to do so prudently

I remember some aspects taught as part math class and some in social studies and some in home economics.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working as a contract TAS for 6 months in a medical device company. I started part time and as it became busier/my trainer quit, I became full-time. I applied for the TA position through corporate and would like some insight. the company is short staffed and my site specifically does not have good TA retention. For the salary expectation, I put in 85k which is in the range. I’m currently at 64k which is below the minimum of the range. Is this realistic?
