Yes. I have a few super-drivers that I know are taking care of business, they are self-directed and update me regularly. Others aren’t as organized and don’t “manage up “ well and I have to be more inquisitive and directive with them so they don’t flounder. Those earlier in their career may need more coaching/mentoring, etc.

Well… people are all individuals with their own personalities, needs and development areas, so…yes

You have those that require more hands on approach and guidance, and you have others that need little to none. It depends based off your years of experience in my opinion. If you are just fresh out of school, I’d look for more of mentorship vs being in the field for 20yrs, I’d need someone that’s consistent, gives the tools needed and is great to work alongside with.
Yes, a lot depends on their personality
Yes!! I get to know the personalities and strengths and weaknesses of my employees and manage accordingly. There are a few practices I have across the board but some definitely need more coaching and instruction.
