Almost all roles have a cap. Leave for a better paying job. If you don’t love that one then keep changing jobs until you find another one you enjoy.
I am right there with you. I think the only way for me to make more is to be promoted or change companies. I asked about a raise at the end of last year and pretty much got told I was at the top of the pay range.

Yes. I also feel as if even with a wide “range” of the salary, companies put a cap on how much they will actually pay. Then when you ask why you can’t get additional compensation due to the room within the range they tell you it’s so you can “grow”.

Aw thats really sad. Sometimes there is more value in being in a job you love though. If your money is comfortable and you love you're job I'd advise to stay. There is no worse feeling then a Sunday night when you hate your job.
