Kinda? On the one hand I'm confident I can handle anything, but on the other hand I feel like I need to establish my competence with each new person I work with / for.

Duh. That's how you improve and shine

But with work

It's in your head. People above you don't have time to 'test' you.

Only to myself. F everyone else.

Yes! Always, but to different people. You win some you lose some.

Depends on the person... Sometimes.

I really really want to get back to reading.
Do you buy all the books ? I used to read only physical books. Audible books are not appealing to me cos I have hearing issues. Please provide me tips / pointers. TIA

Would like to hear your opinion:

I am new recruiter with about 2 yrs experience within people practice ( learning & development - Employability support - and now recruiting)

I am keen to transition to FAANG/UK but not sure if I should continue in people’s business! Or should I try RPM/APM opportunities as I am currently leading full cycle work with cross functional teams I feel that might be nice thing to take a look at.

Is there other promising career paths I can transition to within tech?

I tutor for cfa if anyone needs help.

Hi everyone, anyone has inputs on comp ranges? I am a senior making 105 base with 6% bonus and about 15k RSUs but I see seniors in other analysis based orgs such as go to market, sales ops, corp dev making 150k base salary + benefits. Is there a reason why and what skill sets would people need to be competitive?

Hello friends,
I wanted to share that I am in my first job as ui/ux expert and I am the only ux/ui person in the team. I am expected to take care of entire research and design of the product. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own. There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched. Please help!

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. I love my new team and people here! Super healthy working environment! But just curious about the title.

Deloitte tax senior/manager peeps. I’m currently unhappy with the direction EY has gone in the last year plus fed up with the awful admin tech that ends up wasting time. There is a opening at Deloitte that interest me. Yes, I know generally all B4s are the same and a lot depends on your group/location but have a few questions: 1) are you generally happy with the tax leadership? 2) are you overall happy with the Deloitte’s leadership 3) is the admin tech, ie timesheet, scheduling tools, effic
