More layoffs or even bankruptcy are to come. We put in so much effort into this pitch and the Home Depot one, all other smaller client got disregarded. Not to mention the Boston HQ office haven’t won any new biz in over 2 years while losing almost every major account in our portfolio. IPG was close to pulling the plug around NYE by now it seems unavoidable. Most people are trying to get off this ship before it completely submerged!

The more pedestrian your intellect, the better fit you are at D Heard of a colleague with an FRM charter being laid off today. Overall excellent person. And you won't believe who they promote year after year.. the character, curiosity and quality of the lifers Don't join this firm if you for a love of learning and to be inspired. hey all, i’m 3 years into my career. some decent work produced, some awards (mostly student). after getting laid off last fall and many many applications and emails sent, I’ve decided to spend time and money on a creative PR stunt to get my dream agencies’ attention. I’ve decided I don’t want to settle any longer, and I’m ready to make the jump to the elite. so people that have made it to their dream agencies: when did it happen for you, what made it happen, and was it everything you hoped for?

So I got a new contract working remotely. No guarantee it will get renewed come December. However I'm tired of living in DC thinking about renting an air bnb in atl for a lil bit but unsure if I want to give up my apartment I have a 1 bed room den for 2100 900 sq ft which is unheard of. However the wharf area can get dangerous what should I do. Wait it out?

Hey! Can anyone assist with what can be claimed as workers comp? I was at work when I had my first episode of vertigo. Everything was spinning, wouldn't stop, and I couldn't stand or sit. I was freaking out and asked to be rushed to ER. Work paid for the ambulance. No physical injury. Insurance apparently didn't cover emergency charges. The out of pocket expense is about $2.5k and was wondering if I can claim this as workers comp. Again, no physical injury though.

Was hired into a company at a level that was more junior than my skills (Was out of work due to pandemic for a year). I’ve been at the company 5 months. We’re going through a reorg and my new position will really be leveraging my years of experience more so than other role. Is it appropriate to discuss a raise/adding senior to title? Or should I do the job and then prove myself then talk about raise. I have more experience than the senior members of my team.

Moms, both husband and I are nearing the end of our parental leave. We live in a two bedroom in NYC. We are thinking of hiring a nanny. The plan is that I would work from one room and husband would work from another room. We can move the changing table and pack n play in the living room, and the nanny and the baby can hang in the living room. Does this sound like a good plan?
