Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

If anything, I find it comforting as it further reinforces that Islam is the truthful path.
All the things that the world is seemingly operating on hasn’t exactly made the world a better place. We are seeing firsthand destruction of basic societal structures and norms
You are right this does reinforce the true path of Islam
I feel this deeply. It’s hard seeing the world prioritize greed and self-interest when Islam teaches us about service, community, and compassion. It can feel isolating, but I remind myself that small acts of kindness and integrity still matter. We can’t control the world, but we can live by our values and make a difference.
This is such a good reminder and makes me think of the Rumi quote - “yesterday I was smart so I tried to change the world, today I am wise so I change myself.”

As a woman and someone with science background, I find some of the “world” views much more liberating than what Islam teaches us. There are lots of views in the world that promote community service, social trust, equality and openness to other cultures.
Greed has always existed in the world. Even the history of Islam was based on conquest and violence which was a result a greed.
P1 - I agree with the examples you provided, and I see those in Islam as well. The opportunities Khadija had (wife of Holy Prophet), the fact that the poor were looked after by the community so directly.
I find lots of parallels between Islam and Buddhism for example you look at Sufi lessons and mysticism.
My view as a Muslim is accepting to cultures and learning from them, but never forgetting my Lord and trusting in HIM, for he is all-knowing, all-wise.
