TikTok's owners have said repeatedly they have no interest in selling it. I read something about how it's a worldwide company and they can't really chop it up and sell off the American part of it. And given that proprietary material is the real merchandise and it's not for sale, it's hard to see that happening. I suppose Musk and other publicity hounds will try to propel themselves into the conversation, but it doesn't seem like they've got a role to play. I suppose a court injunction could stop the ban until the Supreme Court rules.

We already lost Twitter to the man, I hope history doesn't repeat itself with TikTok. Musk's management style and vision could drastically alter TikTok's culture and user experience, potentially alienating its current user base. That's just what I think...
Given Elon Musk's focus on multiple high-tech industries and his distinct objectives with them, integrating TikTok into Musk’s portfolio could create operational complexities. I was in doubt about the ban but it does seem like it might just happen. Guess there's only one way to find out.
