I'm so lucky I didn't have to take out loans. My grandpa set up college funds for all of us, so I never had to worry about it. If I had, I honestly don't know if I would've gone to college. I do know that I DEFINITELY would not have gotten an advanced degree if I had to foot the bill myself. I'd be pretty heated if I was in your shoes. Do you have the same title as those colleagues? I sincerely hope not.

That's very lucky!
My colleague's job title is different, in fact she is senior to me!

on the job experience is more valuable than school degrees. you cant beat valuable on the job or in field experience with academic learning

No definitely not. Sometimes what we study is just theory and in practice everything is different.
No not at all! I’m not making the salary I expected and the debt I owe is way beyond what I can afford. There’s plenty of people without a degree who make more and are content. While I enjoyed the learning experience, I wouldn’t have made certain financial decisions in hindsight.

I personally love what I did study but like you said our pay is beyond what we can afford. I think education shouldn't cost this much, obviously educated staff can deal with challenges and tough situations better as they have learned it in theory, plus learnt so much while studying and delivering projects as a group.
