Got an interview request from Amazon for Sr. Digital Marketing Manager. I have been interviewed by and worked for multiple big names like Mcafee, Meta, Microsoft but never by Amazon. I’m wondering how’s their hiring process, what kind of questions and tasks are waiting for me, how many steps are there etc.
Thank you in advance, everyone!

Bain & Company Ik this is a big ask for someone with little to no leverage but, how can freshers in advisory prepare to move to other countries (not necessarily USA) like Australia, New Zealand, etc.?

If all you want is $75k then work for the govt. I like knowing I'm using my tax background to ensure tax compliance by taxpayers, which generates the "revenue" to keep this country funded.
An old colleague just got a job with the state as a budget analyst for 95k. My jaw hit the floor. Apparently Oregon is the place to be for gov!
Agree, I feel I would get more purpose and meaning out of helping smaller clients and businesses on my own time. Plus, making your own schedule and grinding for your self would give me more motivation.

💯 I like to have a greater impact on people. Small businesses value you so much more than large businesses because they are so used to having a CPA. I’m “grinding” now, but I look at is as paid experience so I can harness it down the road on my own.

I'm feeling that I need to see Industry tax for a while. Seems PA is not all you need and as an S1 I don't feel like being abused any longer.

Thanks for the details. Ya F250 with only 3 sounds rough. Going to be sure to get an accurate head count during my interviews.
So you do see a compelling career? It doesn’t have to be a linear trajectory at PA. Acquire as much knowledge and as many soft skills as you see fit then decide what you want to do. You can leave whenever, but you are acquiring a solid business foundation in the meantime. Start a random business or stay in tax. The beauty of this career is you own your skills and can take them with you when you leave. It’s pretty obvious entrepreneurs have the most compelling careers.
