We have a babysitter come every Wednesday night - she does dinner/bath/bedtime with our 3 littles. Sometimes we work, sometimes we go to the gym, and sometimes I run errands. It’s wonderful.
I used to have a sitter every Wednesday night so I could work late, enjoy a nice dinner out alone, and go to a church group. All of it (yes in one night) made me feel like a grown up again.
Im a babysitter if need one contact me on her
Date night every week. Critical.
Just go to dinner or drinks or to the gym or to a movie or on a walk. We go every Wednesday. We asked our nanny for awhile, but she didn’t like working nights, so we got a babysitter. It’s just 2-3 hours. Then when kids get older, they can eat ravioli and stay home.
We did a sitter every Friday night, and we did date night. Some nights we were out only a couple hours, but some nights we would go to a show and be out late. We really enjoyed it regardless. Highly recommend!
Yes, we have a standing Saturday date night. We also have a sitter pick our kids up from school and hang out through 8:30 (do the baby’s bath and bed).
We have a babysitter come to take care of our 3-yr old twice/week so we can work and get some things done around the house. She does bath time and prepares/does some learning activities. We also all eat dinner together. It’s a game changer so you can also get a break during the week!
Sittercity then we did phone interviews followed by a trial run with our top candidates. It was an extensive process because we wanted the sitter every weekday during busy season
We do this most weekends, as someone mentioned sometimes it’s 6.30-9.30, other times we’re at a concert and stay on. It’d expensive but something we love. It’s not every single weekend we just ping her in advance and book her in
Question for those who do this - is this in addition to daycare / school / nanny?
Wondering if we should do this as well bc sometimes weekends be stressful lol
I am planning on doing this in addition to daycare.
