I have an offer from Walmart but I'm also interviewing at Meta. I'm midway through the Meta process but there's still a long way to go and I don't want to rush through it unprepared. Both are for a Data Scientist position. Any suggestions on how to deal with a situation like this? Walmart Facebook (Meta)

May graduates, what are your post grad plans?
Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

Honestly it could mean different things at each company. I’m a Systems Engineer and I design and build out architectures based on product the offering we have. It means that I also need to take into account the customer infrastructure and figure out how everything will integrate and function as intended. Sometimes I need to reach out to other vendors to fill an offering gap, so I run trade studies to find the best solution for the gap. I deal directly with customers to gather requirements, develop CONOPs and use cases, develop the architecture, propose the solution and refine as needed. That is a very high level overview and there is a lot more involved. I love it.
Systems engineers basically oversee and critique the engineering to see if there if there's a better way of doing things.
It's a pretty cool job. You would be the problem solver. Identifying problems with a company's systems and how it could be better. Good salary too, you'll make anywhere from $80-100k
I have a friend who is a Systems Engineer and she realllllllly loves it. It really does seem like its a super cool job.

Your job would be to oversee processes, handle communication and collbaoration with vendors/clients and staff, and handle a lot of system protocol management (establishing control systems and features, mostly).
I work with one. Essentially he looks at the whole integrated project. He takes all the individual pieces and coordinates how they will interact with each other, and makes sure the entire system operates as it is supposed to.
It's kind of a mix between engineer and project manager in some sense, just focused on all of the technical aspects.
Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. Implements warranty and support activities. Evaluates the existing systems and all similar tasks.
