Does anyone else also feel that we may have lot of AI involvement on paper but in reality we are way behind, and are micromanaging people?

Lots of daily calls with no clarity, people calling others anytime. There are more calls than work, and there are no synergy between India ane Sydney team.

Sometimes even for small request of 2 mins people expects to create a meeting with them for 30 mins.

Blocking the calender just to discuss sprint discussion for 2 to 3 hours exceeding the meeting time

*Ohio* I stepped into a role as Software Engineer (.Net) with no experience at $70k. Six months ago I had brought up the fact I was being underpaid for the job I was doing with now 3 years of experience being the only Engineer on the team and my manager agreed giving me an increase to $90k. My manager is wanting to get me some help and posted a new role modeled after me (3 yrs exp) w/ salary between $88k-$126k.
