As I am getting older, I'm definitely starting to notice a lot of things I don’t love happening. If you want to try some remedies go for it, but also give yourself grace that things like that happen and not everything has to be fixed. All that being said, I do a lot of things to myself, but trying to just return to basics and let myself age too.
A lot of this is also food. I have age related bags and went to a health retreat where the diet was high in vegetables and fermented stuff. I was shocked that the bags were gone mid way through the first week. Really really amazing. Came back to sugar and salt and carbs.. and they were immediately back.
I just started using Laneige's eye jelly and it's been great for helping with puffiness. I also use an ice roller that I keep in my freezer. It's a game changer for de-puffing every morning
I’ve noticed more puffiness in my late 40s too, so it might be age-related. But one thing that works wonders for me is storing my eye cream in the fridge. That cooling effect in the morning makes a big difference!
While it’s probably something simple like lack of sleep, eye puffiness is also related to a few other things: 1) kidney issues. 2) Hyperthyroidism or other thyroid disorders. 3) Heart or Liver issues.
I swear by these! I use them every morning after a shower and before make up for 10-15 min!!
