Education: MPA - Healthcare admin, CPHQ, working on LSSGB. I have expertise in quality improvement/management, gap closing strategies, provider education and process improvement (workflow wizard). What sector of healthcare are you interested in? It's such a broad industry, narrowing that down would be an important first step.
I don’t get the interview for the roles. I have fine tuned my resume in the Google x, y, z format and still no hits. Very frustrating. I have the skills and dedication.
Have you tried insurance companies? Just a thought.

What is gap closing strategies?
This involves quality cares gaps- for example members with diabetes have a check list of test and exams they must complete annually. 1. HgA1c testing, 2. Annual eye exam 3. Blood pressure reading etc. I train provider on how to properly code using CPT codes for the work they actually did. Once coded, the health plan knows that the diabetic member has closed all the required gaps/ exams.
