I suggest followup questions by phone call. Don’t ask for another in-person meeting to be considerate of everyone’s time including your own. The risk here is that they may not think you really want the job,
I would try the “sandwich approach” First thank them for the offer and mention one or two things that excite you about the job. Then mention you have a couple of follow up questions. Close by either accepting the offer or by saying you need a day or two to think before you accept.
And don’t feel badly if you choose not to accept. Life is too short and work is too long for a bad job fit.
I think that’s a great idea and would find most would understand wanting to be certain
You should have whatever conversations needed to give you peace of mind. A good manager will understand and appreciate it; you both want a long term relationship.
Didn’t the hiring manager or HR rep suggest you contact them with any further questions? Regardless, reach out to HR about your questions. Or better yet ask the hiring manager or your future coworkers any outstanding questions. I’m curious what type of questions do you have. Or does your gut instinct tell you to avoid the place? Sometimes you have to listen to your ‘gut’. With all that said, If you don’t like your current job don’t just take the next job offer just to improve on your current problems without feeling good about the new place. You have every right to meet up with people or do a quick call.
The recruiter or hiring manager must have shared an email address. You can always ask one of them to answer a few follow-up questions. What questions do you have?
