Does anyone know what you can do about housing lottery residents? Most of them are fine but some of them are so entitled, rude, and honestly disrespectful to the building. They're paying 2k per month so they leave the common areas a mess, are rude to staff, litter everywhere, smoke indoors, etc. I know everyone is thinking this but these behaviors wouldn't happen with people paying $5K+ per month

People of all incomes can be messy or smoke. It’s silly to assume wealthy people don’t smoke, they literally have drgs delivered to their apts, and they have parties on rooftops, leaving a mess behind.

Your building has staff and procedures to address building issues, which you already know and have their contact if you need to discuss an issue with your apt or common areas.

Given your other complaint post, you seem to have an issue with lower income people. Not sure this needed a new post, besides again to complain about “lottery residents” as if they are undeserving.

Folks recently joined P in the tech consulting practice. One one of the calls I realized that we are not really selling solutions but mostly staff aug for clients. Is that really how P does business? Coming in from big 4 this was a surprise to me. Given that most D and MDs are homegrown, probably used to this way of business, however we are not selling solutions is a concern in my opinion. Thoughts?

Moving to NYC from DC. I had planned to come up for a weekend or two to tour apartments. When would be the best time? I thought about a month ahead of needing to move - and then coming back a weekend or two later - would make sense. But I am seeing so many listings on StreetEasy that say the unit is available immediately. Any advice? I have a cat so trying to avoid moving into a temporary Airbnb in between to apartment hunt, as I’ve seen some people suggest.
