Rising Star
Its SDGE — San Diego Gas & Electric.
Do you see a W in that acronym?
I just said the same thing
Rates are going to be really high in the upcoming bills because of the price of natural gas. It’s ridiculous
SDGE does not include water, unfortunately, and yes, most people’s bills are super high. SDGE raised their rates 28% effective Jan. 2023
No and yes
Natural gas and it is temporary. Article in todays Union Tribune
No and yes. Also the alternative would be solar but before April when sdge changes the way they credit solar. It’s called NEM 3.0 - essentially they rob you for the solar credits too and pay nothing for it.
Anyone know if 1) if you already have solar / NEM 2.0, do you need to do anything to get grandfathered in? And 2) given the grandfathering period is 20 years, if I purchase/move into a different house with a solar system where the previous owner was grandfathered in, would it transfer?
Edit: I found the answers: 1) no action required 2) you are grandfathered into whatever the prior property owner had
Mine has been super high the last couple months.
Call them and have them come out to check your meter. It might be fucked up and can cause over billing
Also, figure out who you gotta pay for ur water bill lol
Tell us you've never lived on your own without saying you've never lived on your own 🤣

I have lol but all my other land lords paid my water
Our bill is insane from SDGE and we have solar. I have tried to call them and discuss multiple times and it feels like talking to a brick wall.
@ey 1 have the solar company check the system, maybe they aren’t producing as they should. I have a micro inverter system and if one goes out it takes that whole panel out.
