I have the same routine per se but I’m a lot more flexible with when those things happen! I try to get in a nice walk at night or my husband and I go out for a beverage. Most nights we’ll watch a show or a movie together before heading to bed! It’s muuuuch more relaxed when we can both just wake up at his normal time instead of me waking up hours before him to get to school on time!

I understand that the relaxed evenings are so much more enjoyable. If I want to work in the yard or on my book, I live not having the pressure that I have to get up at 5:00 am.
In the summer I'll wind up staying up late reading or binging on something on TV and just not care. During the school year I really feel guilty if I go beyond my regular bedtime. I find that if I don't get enough sleep I'm really feeling miserable the next day. But in the summer, hey, I can just keep plowing ahead on Outlander episodes and sleep a little later the next day.

Outlander,! I haven't watched any of it. I keep thinking that I might, but just haven't started it yet. I'm guessing that it is worth the watch?
I work at a university so no real summer for me. However, I still feel like there’s much day ahead of me by the time I get off and home in the summer which leaves more room for family time. So in the summer I see a lot more beach and stay up later to enjoy hubby, the kids, and get some personal work done. Oh yea, and me time! Glass of wine, fav tv show, good book by the pool, etc…

Okay this sounds like the dream. Beach and pool, add in a book and family time. Sounds wonderful!
