First off you should never put in resignation or talk to your manager till you have the official offer from the company on email. Verbal offers can be revoked, the role may go on hold, hundred things that can go wrong.
So wait for the official offer then tell the offer company that you have to wait to put on resignation for the bonus. If they don't agree then ask them to throw the bonus amount as a joining bonus.
Talk to the HR you have been in touch with. Be honest and ask them only for a solution. They might ask for proof as well.
