Hi fishes, I have joined new organization 2 weeks ago and I think have been low bowled in terms of compensation. Now I got 2 offers which are better than what I have joined. How to deal with such situation. I am not greedy but joined 8LPA with 4.3 yoe.. is it okay or less? FYLI can't abscond as I have company laptop (WFH right now).

Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark. I have worked only in a few tools in GCP and done basic coding in pyspark and above average in SQL, but need to be prepared to handle all questions to grab some offer. YouTube has lot of resources but confused on which one to start with. I have an interview this Tuesday in another 2 days.

How does one get on at a family office?

I cheated... we aren’t supposed to do real art in the morning. We watch an art video and discuss in the morning, then in the afternoon we post an instructional video and the kids do a small project at home... I cheated yesterday. I handed out air dry clay and went to town with my 3rd grades.... the kids said it was the most fun art class ever. I will get in trouble for passing stuff out, but I needed it. So did the kids. How does one transition from mid-market insurance defense litigation to anything else?

The apartment refused to take our rent for almost 4 months because it was paid in a personal check and not cashier’s check.

They refused the rent and after the three day notification has passed they refused the cashier’s check here in Orange County.
