I also hate floating to different units. I just make the best of it and try to learn as much as I can so the next time I am floated there, I am a little more comfortable. It still kind of sucks though.

That makes sense, and it’s an efficient way of handling it!
It's okay to ask questions. I think sometimes we don't want to ask questions because it makes it seem like we don't know what we're doing. But each unit is different and it's okay to not know everything.

For sure, I’ve always been the type to try and figure it out rather than inconvenience someone with questions, but that’s not always the best course of action!
You just have to accept that it's always going to be uncomfortable, but that can be manageable. Just try to get a sense of what's happening, and don't be afraid to ask questions if you're puzzled. It's just a matter of being adaptable and getting comfortable with that.

“Being adaptable,” I like that. I’ll keep this in mind! Thanks!

Im not usually floating in different units luckily as a pharmacist but I feel like if I was in a new department/situation, I would like to ask how things are normally run/if there’s anything to be aware of and hopefully they should be the similar

This seems like the most efficient way to go about it for sure!
