Hey! To prep for an enterprise ux designer interview would you prepare a portfolio deck or would you review your portfolio site? The role I am interviewing for is the first and only ux designer on a team of predominantly project managers.

I’m a new hire and currently the only creative on a team of developers. I’ve requested Figma—but IT has pushed back, asking for “detailed business justification… explaining it is beneficial or will assist in day-to-day tasks”.

I’ve already provided info of that nature directly from Figma’s website. Suggestions on what else might convince them?

Hi fishies 🐠 I’m an Art Director that’s trying to transition over to UX Design. I have experience building websites and some previous freelance work doing some UI/UX. What’s the best route to transition over and would I need to apply for entry level roles? Does an AD role with a UI/UX focus even exist?
