Unfortunately, we’re dealing with basic tablets and they aren’t equipped for this.
Actually I misspoke, what I meant is look up "Wave control" to wave and hover with hand using front facing camera to control the tablet.
QR codes seem irrelevant but maybe this is a time to try to bring them back?
Any other ways to push someone to a landing page or second tier of content on their personal devices?
The problem is that I’m trying to A/B test content for best interaction rates ... but worried there won’t be interactions for health reasons that aren’t related to the actual content.
I don't think QR codes are irrelevant. In fact, a lot of restaurants switched their menus over to a QR code-driven digital environment, and though this is anecdotal, almost everyone I dine with says they wish this was a permanent change.
In short, I think Covid pulled QR codes out of irrelevancy, which makes it a perfect use case for your situation.
It's a good time to experiment with gesture technology.
