Heyhey.
Looking to hire a product UX/designer to freelance and help design + run ideation workshops for our Fortune 100 client looking to drive innovation and create/incubate b2c apps.
Would be great if you also knew how to set up an intake form to get a specific brief in order to design the workshop.
Bonus if you know how to design and set-up early stage usability experiments via landing pages/figma to validate problems/solutions before developing a MVP.

Another thing to bring up is Sketch is not enough for efficient developer handoff. You’ll likely need Zeplin to pair with it. Figma gives you both, the design software as well as a good communication of spec for Eng.
What does your manager have to say? Some organizations align a standard creative tool/design technology stack for many good reasons: keeps licensing costs down, file/asset shareability and repurpose, limits info sec concerns. But some orgs are more flexible and will allow a few different tools in. But this isnt your call IMO, its your Managers, whoever you report too. Dont sweat it too much tho - so many design tools are so similar from a patterns perspective, if you know Figma very well you can likely pick up Sketch quickly, and vice versa.
My manager doesn’t have a creative bone in his body, and supports my decision. I know both Figma and Sketch (and XD) equally well, but prefer Figma.
Then you should be fine I would think! Corp IT always are a kind of lowest common denominator to change. If you still meet resistance, connect it to business metrics the org cares more about - e.g. it makes hand offs to developers to code x amount faster, it integrates better with Jira, unlike Sketch it is not Mac only. But honestly if your manager supports it you csn just say to them "IT is giving me push back on Figma, can you help push this through?"
