Yes, it was Chuck. My heart is broken. He was so kind. I saw him everyday. I saw him at 10 am this morning and he was fine.

When the shootings happened on Saturday he’s the first person I thought of because his set up was so similar to the man’s on Lafayette who was executed and I worried he would be a target. I’m in disbelief.

The whole street is still shut down. Detectives are still out here working. This is clearly the work of a serial killer and I hope they find this monster and make him pay.

Any tips for building a client base from scratch? I’m a 4th year associate at a firm of 12 attorneys. I practice in business, compliance, and real estate (primarily on partners’ files) and don’t litigate. Most of the partners’ clients are wealthy friends or friends of friends (not my circle). Associates are not referred business, even cold calls, and so far “networking” events like Chamber of Commerce luncheons have been a bust. I equate a book to autonomy and career choice and pressure is on.

My brother is going through some really intense chemo so him and his wife are often recovering at their house for a week without going out.

Since they can’t take any visitors I would love to send them some sort of at home activity kit (wine tasting or anything!) to keep them busy during these lockdown weeks.

Please share any suggestions you have below! No limits in terms of activity or budget. I have about 8-9 weeks that I plans to cover.

Thank you!
