Please note: I won’t tolerate any rude comments on this post or anyone trying to tell me what to do. This is his third round with the big C and I would like to do anything within my power to lift spirits and keep everyone busy. I already sent cannabis edibles and have food deliveries set for the next three months.
Thanks for understanding.

Virtual escape room - can be done with a larger or smaller group
Thank you!!
Puzzles. Get them a few boxes and frames. It should keep them busy for a few weeks.
Unfortunately they hate puzzles. My mom got them one and they’ve never opened it.
My brother said repetitive activities make time move a little too slow plus his eyesight is greatly impacted from chemo so it hurts for him to look at the same thing for awhile.
Thanks anyways for suggesting!
Frogs Leap does a great virtual wine tasting.
They got married there!!! What a perfect activity, thank you so much!

So sorry OP! Sending love your way. One caution, my aunt went through chemo and she couldn’t go near alcohol / wine because of the nausea. Everyone might react differently but might be something to check out with them first.
Thank you 💛
Yes the first two times he’s had this, alcohol was out. In the times he was in remission he got really into wine. This time around he’s just living life and doing what he wants. Enjoying as much as he can.
I have many activities to plan so just one involving wine should be okay plus he’s still early where he’s just weak and sleepy so a one or two hour tasting will be fine.
He'll be extremely nauseous after his chemo sessions so be careful with the wine/food/drinks. He might not be able to keep it down. Could be a good idea for his wife though. Maybe tea if he drinks tea or hard candies to suck on. But otherwise look for things that help him feel comfortable and cozy (chemo patients often become more sensitive to cold and have heightened risk of infection) and help him pass time (puzzles, video games, or an art set, etc). Their skin might become dry or irritable too. So lotions are common gifts, don't know if you're brother cares for that type of stuff.
Thanks for this, we are well aware of these by now. This is his third fight with the big C so the comforts and things we are on top of.
I booked a professional at home spa day for this 😊
He loves wine so I think because we’re early (1 round in) and are at the realization that he should do what he enjoys; that we will likely do a tasting next before it gets more intense.
Unfortunately his other hobbies were more physical so I’m hoping to get some creative suggestions here.
No suggestions, but just wanted to offer positive vibes for a complete recovery.
Thank you 💛
Hopeful 🙏🏼
