I feel for you on that one, I had a very toxic management and going to one that treats you great, felt such a relief and also weird as it seemed so unusual but it’s normal as I was used to the toxic ways!
Good leadership makes all the difference. I prefer a good leader and environment any day to making a lot more $ at a place where your day to day leaves you feeling unsupported, not valued and or overall hurts your mental well-being with a terrible Manager or environment.

It makes you actually feel like coming into work, especially when your valued and appreciated.

I’m happy you feel that way! It’s great to hear that they’re so many great managers around.
I had a great manager who had a big effect on how I viewed my job. So I'm aware that having someone who takes your work seriously can make a major difference. Ultimately, we're all on our own, but having some solid guidance, especially early in one's career, can make quite a difference.

Supportive managers make a huge difference. They shape whether you stay, grow, or burn out. I have seen people turn down higher pay just to keep a good manager.
Made such a huge difference in my experience. When a manager genuinely supports you, it builds trust and psychological safety, which honestly has influenced both my engagement and my decisions to stay in certain roles.
