For those who’ve interviewed, what threw you off the most? I’ve started prepping for mine and I feel ready on paper, but I keep hearing adcoms push hard on “why now” and “why us.” How did you handle those Qs?

How is everyone planning their family vacations? Specially looking for people with kids. I have 2 kids and a family vacation for 4 people for a week easily comes to a min of 5k -6k (flight, car, hotel, eating out every day, entertainment tickets) and if we end up taking 2-3 vacations per year, it costs about 15-20k. This feels like a lot, or is everyone spending this much?
