FPA/Corp Fin people - compare large vs small companies in a middle management role

Is it fair to say that at a smaller company you have a broader range of responsibility than at a large one. The way I see it is that the finance team is smaller so you need to cover more, whereas at a large company you might only work on one specific area (e.g. revenue/margin or OPEX etc) because it's larger and potentially more complex?

How am I expected to bill 1900 hours when I only have 8 cases and when I ask for work no one responds. I would be moving to new employer, in their background investigation form I mentioned current employer job title as Senior Consultant, however with my current employer my Current Designation is Senior Consultant and Current Role is Consultant. Will this cause any issue in the Background investigation ?
