Freelancers: do you file for unemployment between jobs? Was busy until like November of last year, crickets since...and getting itchy.

And when they ask if you've "been employed" in your state and/or another state since a certain date, and you've freelanced in your home state and other state(s) in that timeframe—but NOT been employed full-time—do you check those boxes for those states, or do you just respond "No, I haven't been employed since X date"

Now that I got promoted to manager, I’m kind of missing the camaraderie that came along with being out on the floor with everyone else. Is that normal?

I’ve come to a point where I just started at the green dot on my laptop camera when talking. I want to do the Errol Morris interrotron to get some sort of connection. The lack of eye contact or staring off to the side from other participants makes me think they have high anxiety or on the spectrum like rain man.

Recently got a contract job at Facebook NY. Friendly reminder folks- don’t work for Havas Health and You. They cut the freelancers hourly rates, again and made it so there’s no OT. The resource manager at HOV said if I couldn’t swing $80 an hour as an HCP copywriter, she’d have to find someone else. Good luck 👍🏻
