Frustrated! I have been in dentistry for over 25 years as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Kentucky but trying to get a job in North Carolina without going back to school is frustrating! All my certifications are from U of L School of Dentistry but none transfer over in the State of North Carolina. Had an interview and a callback for a face-to-face interview but then got the dreaded email today that while my resume is impressive we have decided not to move forward. Wish we never moved!

Is it a good strategy to do it this way because NIW is more certain and gets a place in the line? Am I missing something? Should I instead file an EB1A directly?

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate
