When negotiating Salary, do you mention Glassdoor, Levels.fyi, or a separate source? Or neither?? Looking at a role I’m currently a candidate for and the discrepancy of pay between Glassdoor and Levels.fyi is absurd (IE Glassdoor average salary is almost 40K higher than Levels.fyi) Glassdoor also has more “data points”, for lack of a better term, than Levels.fyi for this role.

It will pass and you will find balance. But the first few years it’s hard. I hope you have a significant other to help with drop offs or pick ups or grocery shopping, etc to spread the load. Especially if you’re pumping milk. Just remember it’s okay to still want to have your own identity and enjoy working and professional growth.
Hybrid honestly is ideal at this stage, you need human interaction better for your mental state, despite the possible Mom guilt. You need to be around other adults. If you do get another remote job, just make sure that you can find yourself an in-person hobby.
