Going to be moving to St. Pete, FL and looking for a non-denominational type of church to join. I’m looking for one that has a strong participation atmosphere, meaning lots of different groups/activities you can join and give back and not just Sundays. Things like Wednesday Bible studies, teaching classes to kids/teens, and would love to join/start a mentor type program for pre-teens/teens which I grew up with at my church and I rarely see. Hi, this is mostly a question for account management and strategists. I’ve been in advertising for a while, and am back in this market after working in others. The main thing I’m noticing that is driving me bonkers is the lack of client talent here. Across the portfolio I oversee it is very rare to get a client that understands how to brief an agency partner (creative or media or pr); there is limited capacity to really focus on objectives other than tactical KPIs.
Is this common/any advice?

We’ve been attending a church for about 6 months now and trying to decide if it’s our church home. The only reason I’m hesitant is because people don’t seem to engage with us as much as I expected. For example, I told the pastors wife about a serious diagnosis we recently received and she did pray for us on the spot, but no one has reached out to us at all to check in. Am I expecting too much?
