Way I think is I prioritize time for God first before family and work. Even though we all have important responsibilities, if I dedicate an hour for prayer/worship everyday, God gives me the strength and energy to do even more throughout the day. It's sort of amazing really. So whenever I think I'm too busy for God, I know it's my lazy butt making excuses
Not sure if this was the response you were looking for..but figured I'd share since you got no replies.
Also: sanctify your work. Jesus’ 30 years as a carpenter were surely serving God too— not just the years of his public ministry.
Serve God through being the best worker. Make people wonder how you are so positive, kind, generous, productive— and the answer is God
I use the bible app plans and set reminders, slowly swit hed out my spotify playlist to worship/praise and i try to make God part of my solo activities.
So, i talk to God in the shower, on my way to catch a train, the moments when i have lunch alone and at my desk.
Invite God into the smallest details and try to remember that you can never really be apart from God, quiet time is to seek deeper intimacy
Carve out 5-10 minutes each morning is the best way - you can even start putting your thoughts together in the shower if you really have so little time. Prayer is meant to be something done consistently, not lengthily
Wake up, pray. Pray before every meeting. Pray before every meal. Pray before you drive. Pray before you sleep. Prayer doesn’t need to be long and elaborate, you just need to commune with the Lord all day long and meditate on His word. Now, Bible reading time is another story. That you need to carve out time for (speaking to myself on this one as well).
Liturgy of the hours was once a good habit.
