Both. I don't want to engage (quieter) but if forced to engage, I will not be happy about it (irritable).
Pro
I see!
Depends on my project/role. If I am accountable for a team I put up with no BS and react bigger when my team is disrespected and have an anxious approach - question everything. If I’m in an IC role I get quieter, anxious about the amount of work I’m doing and never feel like I’m doing a good job and tend to have a freeze response.
Quieter at work, more irritable to my close friends.
Pro
Anyway, I see it's different for everyone...
More irritable - and short and confrontational. Unfortunately. I tend to be someone who allows things to slide to keep peace and harmony - because it’s about getting the work done. So when it becomes obvious that I’m being taken advantage of, I can snap back. It’s always taken people by surprise because they’re used to a different side of me.
Quieter and I seek out trusted friends to vent, then I start writing songs…
Pro
You're a musician or aspiring/ or ( just like music) ?
Both. I try to self isolate to recover. I also get irritable and angry when self isolation doesn’t work, which it never does.
Pro
But from what most people say here, it seems most people end up with the combo!
Pro
Quieter but louder to those very close I can't avoid
Pro
Incredible! Why louder to those close to you though?
Quieter. I don't have any close friends, so I keep it to myself.
