My situation:I have filled visa and waiting for it from few weeks with company A and don’t want to join then because I have better offer from company B. Company B wants me to withdraw my visa application so they can file a new one for me and they r telling me they can’t generate my CoS until I withdraw application. How shall I withdraw my visa until I don’t even have CoS from company B??

B4 is already on your CV. They will never pay you what you’re worth. Chase that bag.
2 years is sufficient. Beyond that, take stock and see if it’s working for you in terms of growth.
I’m ex-B4, so people do definitely move.
If you’re only on £43k after 3YOE, i think you should consider the possibility that the Big 4 is scamming you, and with the cuts that they’re doing, money might be bette than an intangible brand

That’s so depressing. At a tier 3 firm I was making 5-6k pre tax bonus and I thought that was bad because my friends were making 10-15k

Whether this is good or not depends on where you are moving to. Without knowing that, it is very difficult to comment meaningfully. In principle, is 13k more good? Yes. In context, I don’t know. It could be a low ball. Depends on where
I’m 8 Yoe (4 of which in consulting) joining as experienced hire and only on 70k as manager in big 4 😅
Felt. 12YOE about half consulting and I’m at under £60k still despite insanely good feedback for that whole period. Been trying to move companies for the last few years to shift this but nobody bites. it’s starting to make me feel delusional
kpmg deals advisory pays 60-64+ for internal hires/promos for 3 years exp (analyst/grad to assistant manager)

I wouldn’t recommend it - so I logger to the b4 with 4 years of exp at a smaller firm and they hired me for £54K.
Think about it like this - you move to a smaller firm now and you get that £56K jump but down the line you won’t know if you’ll have similar opps at this stage in your career
Would recommend moving to another b4 or a bigger firm - I actually took a slight pay cut when joining here
Thanks , when you say bigger are you saying MBB ? At b4 I’m not in strategy but I’m implementation consulting. What would the next big step be after that ?
