As a chemical engineer, I have a lot of job opportunities, but as a recent graduate, I have had a hard time getting my first job. After my internship, I have only had 3 interviews. Does anyone know about any job bank for chemical engineers?

Where are you based?

You can research online job boards such as Indeed, Monster, or Glassdoor to see if any positions fit your qualifications.

It's hard to find the right opportunity, especially in this current market. I suggest checking out online resources such as Indeed and LinkedIn Jobs - you may find more job postings there than in other job banks.

Originally interviewed for Community Relations Coordinator for set asking salary of $65k. Now owner wants to change title to Branch Manager, increased responsibilities, but primarily still CRC role. Same salary and now will decrease to $50k after one year with an increasing commission rate. The idea behind this is motivation to earn more than set salary. At this point, I need the income and am not planning on staying longer than the year, if that. Is it worth negotiating? Any advice welcome.

A friend of mine has been interviewing for a role at Google. He completed all his rounds but mentioned that his experience with the recruiter has not been at par. So, for all the first 3 rounds, he had mailed the HR stating about the completion of interview, a one line feedback on how it went and asking for update if any. The recruiter had not replied back to his mails with any feedback rather he would just get the invite for the next round. <contd in comment>

Have I just had bad luck with the companies I've been at or is it like this everywhere? I've had 7 managers in my 4 years of experience, 3 in one year at my first position (which is why I left) and now 4 at the 2nd company in 3 years.
