Keep your US cards if possible. You will be disappointed by the value proposition of the UK credit cards. The EU interchange regulations gutted the market a few years back and made it impossible for card issuers to fund any decent rewards.
The CSR exchange rates are pretty competitive
None really. They are all pretty poor. But Amex has a pretty good experience of giving you a card here if you have one in the US. They gave me a proper credit limit. You have to remember you have no credit when you move here.
None... I keep my international credit csrd
Have a look at headforpoints online, they do a good analysis of cards on the market

Amex British Airways. None of the others come close in benefit / cost. It is not great anyway but best by a massive margin. The runner ups are also Amex.
I’ve been quite happy with the Amex Platinum - steep entry at just over £500 per annum but the benefits pay themselves off: includes international travel insurance, car rental insurance, priority pass annual membership, automatic gold membership at a number of hotel chains, USD200 credit if you book hotel stays through them, then loads of cash back offers on your purchases (you make back the annual fee pretty much through this)
Right! The fun of international moves :)
Very happy with AmEx points and customer service - used it a lot for air miles (BA) and for booking hotels (if you get a Gold Amex you actually have a very high chance of being upgraded if booked through them) + overall booking experience is not bad.
I kept my Chase Sapphire and use it for a few international purchases, but always make sure to use it in the US when I visit home or order online (i.e. holiday gifts for family and friends from Amazon US, even if you aren’t traveling for this holiday season)
Keep the US cards
I like the Amex Cashback Rewards, or the black BA Amex
