Got approached by a recruiter for a shady-looking prop firm offering insane money. Tempting, but my gut says it smells like a future dumpster fire. What would you do?

Take the money and quit later

Your guts probably right. Get the offer first. You can always decline and use it with other offers in other roles you trust or want more . You can always decline. But I will says some of the places I’ve cashed in have always been dumpster fires; otherwise they wouldn’t need unicorns

Run.

I ignored my gut on a startup. Left 6 weeks later, but it was still such an aggrandizing experience. Don’t let yourself go inside the belly of the beast to see the true depth of the shadiness. I saw shit that needed criminal investigation.

Hello fishes.
I recently gave interview with amazon for program management , manager role.
I have an MBA from London and currently working as strategic consultant. CCTC is 35 LPA fixed.
What is the salary range I can expect to ask on the current role. What normally is included in the CTC of Amazon.

When a firm does rebadging (make employees join another small company who takes care of HR, payroll, etc), are they not supposed to give severance pay to the employee?

Anyone know what kind of experience or certifications I should be aiming to get if I'm trying to break into a pentest role? I just graduated last year and have about a year of sysadmin experience and am trying to get into it asap. So, I'm already applying/job hunting and probably won't get much replies but. Should I be looking at more security analyst/admin roles first? Going for certs? Getting a masters? Wondering what I can do to improve my chances. TIA
