Hi fishes! I volunteer with The Art of Good, a creative collective helping small businesses affected by the pandemic. They are seeking a little help from a media professional. I've done data breach/incident response/IP Theft work but have not been part of a 'cyber' team yet (though looking to change that). A Director i met recently at KPMG, though not in cyber, offered to pass my resume along to Ed Goings. I may take him up on that offer, though yours is also intriguing..
Interviewed at KPMG several years ago. They had the wrong interviewers show up. I didn’t accept. I’ve also never heard of anyone using KPMG for cyber and I primarily work with Fortune 500 clients
Just because you haven’t gone up against another B4 personally doesn’t mean they don’t have a relevant practice. I don’t see Deloitte and PWC at my two main clients doing cyber work, but they are the auditors so that makes sense, to me at least.
Also please keep hiring all of our folks who don’t do technical work. Thank you!
@P3 I am US based but if you are looking for the UK drop me your resume in the email I provided and I’ll connect you with a partner I know in the UK cyber practice.
Funny coming from EY since their cyber practice is non-existent. Anyways if you just want to talk trash go somewhere else, I am trying to give people options that are looking.
@P2, seriously, don’t come in here selling a bunch of lies when you have no facts back up what you’re saying. You guys are on a cohort model and a friend of mine is a new SA and makes 92k. At least we pay based on performance.
Not taking credit, helping KPMG Cyber to recruit people. Be a team player✌️
Cyber experienced associate here - transferred from another big 4 and got a 22% raise. If you want to chat, let me know!
You can send me your resume at kpmgfishbowl@gmail.com
Lol @K2 trying to take credit for someone else’s work. Difference is I can actually make hiring decisions.
Not here to talk trash. Just to educate people. I have never gone up against KPMG in a competitive pursuit and have never heard of any of my clients using KPMG for any cyber services. Heavy in A&P and assessment work. Out of the big 4 it’s definitely the smallest out of the group — and I don’t care what pay to play ratings have to say
A Billion Dollars. 😂
Depends on the level and years of experience, but there’s only one way to find out and that is to come interview and get an offer.
Read this in Suge Knight's voice lol.
I don’t look st KPMG above PwC in cyber so give me something else besides 5-7k more.
Also, OP - the pay based on performance thing is a load of crap. Our variable comp is based on utilization, which absent chronic issues, is a pointless metric that staff have no control over.
Promotions and the merit raises that come with them are very much based on “who you know” and not performance. Be prepared to “do the time” if you want a promotion organically
@EY1, We have openings across the entirety of our cyber practice from Associate to Manager. Trying to hire 10/month, any major city.
Possibly, if you have the sales experience that we need at the Director level.
Is it true that KPMG has a $3M sales target for its cyber managers?
Probably can’t share targets here. But don’t expect to get a level boost. I’ve never seen that here - we usually subtract a level for experience hires
Any internal cyber work with less travel?
@pwc1 not true, managers are 750k, directors 1.5M, Managing Directors 2.5-4M.
@D4 yes we do, drop me a note with your resume at kpmgcyber@protonmail.com
