Had to throw trans on at the end. Can someone explain to me why trans is such a hot button issue to Trump supporters? So much so, that he thinks this'll get him more attention? Trans athletes affect maybe 100 people out of 340 million. I just don't get why it makes people upset.

With Republicans and MAGA it's about outrage, grievance and having some "others" to hate and blame things on, all of the time. For the politicians it's just a shell game, a way to distract their adherents from what the game is really all about. If you can keep your followers rabid and frothing at the mouth about something, they will continue their campaign donations, to vote, etc., ad nauseum.

Being from Minnesota, I think it's so funny when people act as if we are some far-left State just because we hadn't voted Republican in a presidential election since Nixon. Never mind that many of our elections are close or that we have elected Republican Senators and governors.
