Any advice for an AGC of a medium-sized private company whose GC appears to be increasingly threatened? He is part of the good old boys club and is surprisingly incompetent. I am the only other attorney in the company so until I came on two years ago, no one had the legal understanding to know. He has yelled at me for bringing up legitimate major concerns for liability for the company, constantly takes credit to our CEO for my work and ideas, and lied about what the position entails.

Has anyone here participated in the year long remote year program? My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small. Curious to hear from people at companies who have done it before and if there were any issues from a tax or payroll perspective.
