Has anyone switched from recruiting into consulting? How did you do it? What sort of roles did you look for?

I had an interview where the interviewer was acting extremely weird-almost as if she was trying to deter me from wanting the position. I shared about it in another bowl and many people suggested reaching out to the recruiter. After a lot of anxiety and overthinking, I reached out. I reiterated my interest and specifically said the interview was bad in my opinion. What are your thoughts?? Will I just be ghosted?

*just FYI, I sent this email 2 weeks after the second interview.

Hi, I currently work at a corporate law firm and found out I was being severely underpaid (almost 15k). I asked for them to adjust my salary as people who came into the form after me and have less experience are being paid way more than me. They just said we can’t at this time.
