I am trying to get fired from my Management Consulting job so I can get paid severance! Any ideas best ways to get fired and enjoy some time off?

Just to know about day care benefits offered by many organization's, if we are having baby sitter at home to whom we pay monthly can we get reimbursement for that amount as a part day care policy

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Hello! I am not happy with my current job position. I also just found out that we are pregnant and I feel stuck. My hope would be to move into a remote position but am afraid of the change as well as any annoyance about taking maternity leave from a new manager/ team. Has anyone ever changed jobs while pregnant? Was the team at your new job resentful that you had to take maternity leave so quickly after starting?

I have been offered a position in-house at a $500M-$1B company, mid-sized city LCOL, 10 YOE in private practice. They offered me $120k, w opp for undefined discretionary bonus. No paid parental leave or 401(k) match & only 1 week PTO in first year (but claim they have discretion for more). Is there any way to salvage this? Salary guides suggest TC should be around $200-215k. I want to get my foot in the door but this seems crazy low.

Question for career/long-term clerks. Do your courts have parental leave policies? Mine doesn’t have a policy. Curious what others have or don’t have. This is not including FMLA. I mean something separate from that.

I am a sales rep and have worked extremely hard to build a large book of business. Every year upper management seems to find a way to cut commissions and make my hard work, worth less. Is this common? It’s pretty draining to work harder and get paid less year over year even though you’re typically getting more business. I don’t feel valued. Do more for less? Any other great sales companies/ industries that people are happy with and compensated accordingly? Preferably uncapped commissions
