Yes it happens, i was done with my PIO injection in early december- still have some soreness around the injection site- try putting a warm compress to it and massaging if u can, it will settle
I don’t know if my experience is common, but after PIO injections my butt cheeks were tingly/numb until the month after I gave birth 🤷🏻♀️ So it lasted a WHILE but did eventually go away. No pain though, I would be more concerned about pain
I had the same issue. My injections also lead to some neuropathy issues which is still deal with 5 months after. The doc said unfortunately side effects are common and the go away eventually. Hoping I get better after the delivery.
I stopped PIO about 8 weeks ago. It took about 4 weeks to stop feeling lumps in the injection spots and feeling pain when I ran. 8 weeks out though, I don't feel any pain or lumps anymore.
Thanks everyone. It gives me hope that these will ease up and end eventually.
