I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

Obligatory, not me but a friend.
She started using it after years on WW, once she stopped losing weight with WW. She couldn’t stop talking about how great it was for the first couple months, but now she doesn’t talk about it at all. So I’m guessing the novelty of it wore off and it’s not as helpful / exciting to her anymore.
My opinion on those apps / plans is that while traveling it is SO difficult to log meals, unless restaurants have calories next to the menu - and meal tracking is the biggest benefit of the app, since the nutritionist is only available for questions 9-5 (not when the big questions for dinners etc arise!)
If you are completely new / clueless to trying to eat healthy & workout regimens, I would recommend splurging for a few months and getting an actual personalized trainer who can help customize purely to you - and that person is available to help you learn how to pick more healthy options at restaurants etc. After 4 months or so, you will at least have the habit / know-how and can adjust to a more budget friendly / free option.
If you need a kick in the Butt to start eating healthy (but know how to / have the know-how but lacking discipline) download a free app like MyFitnessPal and calorie track through that. Again it’s difficult on the road when you can’t barcode things, but I think the sneaky calories are the ones that hurt us the most - so just the act of attempting to track what you’re eating helps.
Totally agree on MyFitnessPal. I do it for just a couple weeks and it makes me more mindful about my eating for literally months somehow.
I love Noom. I’ve been on it 8 weeks and lost almost 10 lbs (no exercise) and can now fit into my clothes.
It so much different than my fitness pal because it’s rooted in psychology and teaches you what to eat, what food does to your body, why you hit plateaus, etc. I will say if I did work out that I would have lost more weight. But for me if 100% was worth the investment.
For context cause everyone is different. I’m 5’4” started at 148 now at 139. Goal is 130
Below is the screen this is how you start everyday
I also use it and have been happy with it. For me it’s the kick in the pants reminder to make good decisions (sustainably), with elements of behavior change science and psychology woven in
I’m using it and I LOVE it and I’ve lost 4 pounds in 3 weeks! But I’m going slower because I just know realistically I can’t lose 2 lbs per week with my lifestyle. But I’m totally into Noom and highly recommend.
Also I’ve done MyFitnessPal a million times and lost weight, but I never keep it off. I like how Noom is really focused on behavior and mindset changes. I know how to eat healthy and exercise, but what I struggle with most is overcoming my temptations, staying motivated, etc. MyFitnessPal doesn’t do anything to keep me engaged. With Noom, I have a group and a coach through the app who all check in on me and support me, and their little articles are great reminders.
Following!
Following as well
Noom is telling me I can lose 20 lbs in 2 months when I meet my goal and then it'll normalize so that could be why your friend stopped talking about it. Free 2 week trial so we'll see.
Thats absurd. Unless you have a lot you want to lose in order to be healthy and it’s not a vanity drop. >2 pounds per week is tough!! 1 pound is 3500 calories, so to lose two per week it’s a 7k deficit for 8 weeks straight. 1 mile run burns ~100 calories.. which proves that most weight loss comes from changing your eating. So if you’re only eating <2k calories per day right now, holy shit I’m concerned about how you will deficit 7k for 8 weeks! The only feasible way I see this happening is if you’re eating >3500 calories per day, and not working out.
Be safe. Good luck. Hope they have a money back guarantee if you start starving 😭.
^^ my intent of that message is to encourage you to adopt a healthy lifestyle, but not if its a crazy marketing ploy by Noom! DM me and I am more than willing to send some hotel workout regimens (30-40 mins per day) and sample meals for 2000-2500calories per day.
Just be safe. Don’t buy in to Noom on unrealistic expectations (that’s what I was trying to get at in my very first post - I have an issue with apps for this reason!)
So I used we. A month and a half now and I've steadily lost 2# per week, except the first week I lost 9# (probably just water weight and initial weight was during a time I was really bloated). I'm loving it and recommend it (if you find noon isn't for you...)
