Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. China! The key to accelerating your access is to buy houseware items but China gets you the most points (not perfume or clothes or other leather goods).
THANK YOU!!! ❤️
What’s a Kelly?
Hermes Kelly, similar style & process to getting a Birkin
You could also consider paying a premium on the secondary market. You can get them new from people like JulieRoseBoston. You’ll pay about double retail is my guess but you have a better chance of getting the size, color combo you want. Can be viewed as a waste of money but also about the same as buying thousands in stuff you may not want to only potentially be offered a bag.
Or, if your mom won’t care, go preloved and then send to leather surgeons for a clean up. https://juliaroseluxury.com/Hermes-Kelly-32-Black-Togo-Leather-Palladium-Hardware-Preowned-in-Box-p505215745
I’ve been thinking about this as an option… it’s a very good point! I just get nervous buying from resellers because I’ve hear horror stories of friends getting fake bags. There’s something reassuring about getting it the traditional way haha
My friend spent 90k on baby stuff, shoes & random houseware before she got offered a Kelly lol good luck. I think it depends on your area and what kind of clientele you’re competing with too
90k? That's insane indeed! Haha.
Yup - spent almost 20k in non-leather. If you want it faster, try for the bigger sizes (32/35).
Good tip! Thanks!!
houseware, clothes, and dog accessories. 20-25k.
Thanks for sharing!!
They offer their quota bags (Kelly, Birkin) based on spend. Currently, the ratio is around 2x before you’re offered one. For example, you need to spend $20k before they offer you a $10k bag.
You can let your SA know what color / size combo you’re looking for, but it’s unlikely they’ll give you the exact combo that you want the first time up since they don’t have control over what bags they get. When they offer, would say you can likely pass on one or two bags before they stop offering you one
$20k across any category? Or is it true some items get you more points than others?
Last I checked with others it was 1.5X… 2X is crazy. It kinda pisses me off that it’s unofficial. Have heard of stories of people getting lucky and offered one without spending even 1X. I wish Hermes would just come out and say it
Every SA and boutique is different
Respectfully, $2.5k is still step 1. Good luck though! You never forget your first Hermes quota bag haha
