It’s difficult to answer your question because it’s a bit like asking “what does a house cost?”
Many factors from your director to locations to number of shoot days, travel, and of course the length of the final product will influence your cost, and you’ll want to get a producer involved. But I would say on the low-end, super scrappy production maybe 25-50k. 250-400k probably mid range. And 700-1m or more for a very high end campaign doc. If you have a celeb director or if you are actually making a feature length doc could be even more.
I did 5x 35min films a few years ago and between 750 and 1m is probably the kind of range I remember it being could have been up to 1.2m

Give it to your in-house production department. They’ll do $75,000 worth of work and the agency will only let them bill you eight grand for it.

Why are you asking us what the details are? The details of what you’re putting on screen is what determines cost.
It was 5x 5 mins short docs with up and coming filmmaker, 500k not including agency costs
Wow, that’s incredibly affordable. I’m making 3 x 5:00 and it’s costing like $1m because the clients treat it like an ad and not a doc.
$2M
$2M?? That’s insane. I made a 15-minute doc that was pretty damn good for like under 50k.
I’m in production. If you dm me some details I will give you a ballpark if I can.
