What days does your firm close for the holidays? Are you all working on January 2nd?

I had rented my condo to an unpleasant “condo maintenance company” as my tenant. Had to end the lease prematurely, a lot of trouble. Now I am deducting about $500 from their deposit of $2150, and he is threatening me that “his attorney will be moving forward and pursue every legal right he has as a tenant enforcing the RLTO”.. am I at wrong here? I have declared my investments in tax declaration portal , still I see in monthly salary that there is huge tax deduction.
In my previous organization, once I declared my investments in the tax portal , then my salary was very less affected by tax deduction.
But in ey india , I don't see any effect after declaring my investments.
